What to include
A useful report explains the smallest sequence that reproduces the issue. For gameplay, identify the level, selected hero, skill if relevant, starting board state, action sequence, expected result, and actual result. For visual or control issues, include the device type, operating system, browser, screen orientation, and whether motion or high contrast was enabled.
For privacy or policy questions, describe the right or practice you are asking about without including passwords, financial data, government identifiers, or unrelated sensitive material. Ordinary Swordkoban play does not require a player account, so there is no player password for support to request.
Messages this channel is designed for
The contact channel is intended for issues that benefit from review and a possible reply. General strategy questions may be answered more quickly by the How to Play and Sokoban Strategy guides, while a reproducible defect or policy concern should use the form category that matches it.
- A level appears unsolvable, completes incorrectly, or reports an unexpected move result.
- A hero skill behaves differently from its displayed restriction or target highlight.
- Keyboard, touch, focus, contrast, motion, or screen-reader behavior creates an accessibility barrier.
- A privacy, cookie, Analytics, advertising, terms, copyright, or safety concern needs review.
- A legitimate publishing, advertising, or partnership inquiry relates directly to Swordkoban.
Before reporting a gameplay problem
These checks distinguish a board rule from an implementation problem and reduce the amount of gameplay history needed in the message. A screenshot can provide context, but the written sequence remains important for reproducing the state.
- Use Undo once to confirm the issue occurs from the same previous state.
- Reset the level and repeat the shortest known action sequence.
- Check the skill’s remaining uses, cooldown, facing direction, and highlighted targets.
- Confirm the crate letter matches the target letter when reporting completion behavior.
- Record the level number, hero name, and the exact point where actual behavior differs from expected behavior.
How contact information will be handled
The name field identifies how to address you, the reply email is used to respond, and the message is used to investigate the selected topic. The submission is stored in a restricted MongoDB inbox with its review status and timestamps. Contact information is not used to create a gameplay account or replace browser-local progress.
Messages receive an expiration time 24 months after submission and are removed automatically on the database cleanup schedule unless a different period is reasonably needed for a legal, safety, or dispute-resolution purpose. Keep the message limited to what is necessary for the request; the Privacy Policy explains available access and deletion choices.
Review and response expectations
Messages can require different review paths. A reproducible game defect may be checked against the current published level and hero configuration. A privacy or policy request may require verification that the request relates to information Swordkoban can identify. Browser-local progress normally cannot be retrieved from the server because it stays on the player’s device.
Submitting a message will not guarantee a particular change, publication decision, partnership, or response time. Well-scoped reports can still improve the game even when an individual reply is not necessary.

No. Ordinary level progress is stored in localStorage in the browser and is not synchronized to a player account.
What makes a useful level report?
Include the level number, hero, relevant skill, shortest action sequence, expected behavior, actual behavior, device, and browser.
Should I send a password or private key?
No. Ordinary players do not need credentials, and sensitive authentication or financial information should never be submitted.
